INSource is partnering with the Ripley-Ohio-Dearborn (ROD) Special Education Cooperative in southeastern Indiana to educate parents on the resources available through the public school system and the rights of parents. This is a great opportunity to learn about the services and supports available to students with disabilities and the obligation of schools to provide them a free appropriate public education (FAPE), which may include:
- An independent evaluation at public expense
- An aide or therapist(s)
- Private placement at public expense
- Compensatory services to make up for missed school
